Amy Buckner Chowdhry

Amy launched Full Belly Farm as a private operating foundation after founding and leading AnswerLab for 20 years and subsequently transitioning to Board Chair. Amy’s personal mission is to create a more inclusive, safe, and just world. Amy has been recognized as an Inc 200 Top Female Founder, one of Fortune’s 10 Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs, and a San Francisco Business Times’ Forever Influential Business Leader. Amy's passion for service began early in her career; she led fundraising for San Francisco's Susan G. Komen for the Cure and became Board Chair at the same time she founded AnswerLab. After returning to her home state, Amy now engages in a number of social impact activities across East Tennessee with a strong passion for solving food insecurity, improving childhood well-being, and expanding access to healthcare. Amy LOVES blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries in a smoothie with spinach and avocado.

Rachel McCroskey

Rachel McCroskey is a Soil Conservationist for the Blount County Soil and Water Conservation District and operates a small farm on her family's property in Walland.  Rachel became interested in sustainable agriculture while traveling and working on farms in New Zealand in her early twenties.  Upon returning to Tennessee, she dove head first into learning everything she could about farming, soil health, raising animals and growing nutrient dense produce.  She believes the health of the land and the health of the people that are nourished by it go hand-in-hand.  Rachel and her husband Greg welcomed a little boy in 2024, and are excited to share their love of food and the outdoors with him.

Heather Arnett, LMSW

Heather is a licensed master social worker, with a background in case management, organizational studies, and rural area resource provision. She has a passion for working with older adults and is a Master Gardener candidate. Heather's favorite vegetable is broccoli, roasted with a squeeze of lemon.

Larry Clabough

Larry, aka "Slim Jim," is a Blount County local with over 20+ years of experience in farming and land management. He is a member of the National Sweet Sorghum Association and a Master Gardener candidate. Larry's favorite produce is fresh tomato served on a bacon BLT.
